Certificate Description

Throughout the Exploring Risk Standards Certificate learners will be taken on a journey through various result-proven, risk management standards. Risk management is a generic terminology meant to encompass all supporting processes for finding, controlling, and minimizing events which will negatively affect resources or operations. Each organization or entity has unique risk management goals dictated by organizational goals and risk appetite. Risk management practitioners, who are well-versed in various standards, are likely better prepared for the task of assessing and finding risks within various operational constraints.

How This Certificate Works

In this certificate learners will journey through various risk management standards. Exposing risk management professionals to varied international risk standards fosters a more comprehensive understanding of risk at all levels of the organization. Throughout the course learners will be exposed to various standards and guidelines to enhance the risk practitioner's tools, techniques, and general understanding of risk management.

CPE Reporting

CPE credits earned for this course may be eligible for continuing professional education credits for non-ISC2 certifications. Please visit the continuing education requirements established by the credentialing organization for eligibility.

Members: Starting January 1st, 2022, CPE Credits for ISC2 credentials will be reported by Member Services on the 1st of every month. Please allow 10 business days for processing. Courses completed prior to 1/1/2022 will need to be self-reported by members and associates through the ISC2 CPE Portal accessible via www.isc2.org using your member login credentials.
