Certificate Summary

This self-paced immersive certificate will help learners gain the foundational skills and understanding of building a high- performing cybersecurity team within their organization. It will help them apply current leadership experience to the unique and diverse cybersecurity field in order to defend their businesses with the necessary and appropriate talent.

Cybersecurity professionals that are near, or at a position of hiring others.

Experience Required

Familiarity with security concepts. Desire to advance your security career.

How This Certificate Works

This certificate takes you through immersive scenarios featuring three (3) fictitious companies where you will assume the role of the hiring manager and will be asked to make various decisions as you build your team.  Instructional videos, activities, knowledge checks, perspectives from the field and additional resources with examples are provided throughout the course to help guide the decisions of the learner and to support the course learning objectives. Each module includes an on-the-job activity for you to complete to apply the concepts from the certificate. All learning components in each module must be completed before advancing to the next module.

At the end of the certificate, you will be asked to take a final assessment. Please note that you must score 70% or higher on the final assessment prior to receiving a certificate of completion and earning five (5) continuing professional education (CPE) credits.

CPE Reporting

CPE credits earned for this course may be eligible for continuing professional education credits for non-ISC2; certifications. Please visit the continuing education requirements established by the credentialing organization for eligibility.

Members: Starting January 1st, 2022, CPE Credits for ISC2; credentials will be reported by Member Services on the 1st of every month. Please allow 10 business days for processing. Courses completed prior to 1/1/2022 will need to be self-reported by members and associates through the ISC2; CPE Portal accessible via www.isc2.org using your member login credentials.
