Certificate Summary
Cloud computing continues to transform the way we conduct business. As organizations are rethinking IT strategies, cybersecurity professionals need to first understand the cloud before they can help their organizations transition to the cloud. This self-paced certificate is the first in a series of certificates on the cloud, designed to provide a solid understanding of cloud computing including key drivers and rationale for moving to the cloud, cloud architecture and computing concepts and characteristics, cloud service and deployment models, and cloud brokers.

This certificate includes the following four (4) modules: (1) Setting the Stage (2) Cloud Concepts and Characteristics (3) Cloud Models (4) Cloud Brokers and Use Case.
Audience or Who Should Take This Certificate
Cybersecurity professionals that are near, or at a position of hiring others.
Experience Required
Experienced cybersecurity professionals who are becoming involved in or want to learn more about basics of the cloud.
How This Certificate Works
Each module begins with an interactive introductory presentation that introduces key concepts based on specific learning objectives, incorporates knowledge checks to ensure understanding and provides access to additional resources with examples to further explore the topics covered in the module. Throughout the certificate you will be engaged in an immersive experience that offers you the opportunity to assume the role of an IT consultant hired by a fictitious startup company. You have been hired to help them plan their IT infrastructure where you will be asked to make decisions as it relates to the learning objectives in the course.
Finally, at the end of the 4th module you will be asked to take a final assessment. Please note that you must score 70% or higher on the final assessment prior to receiving a certificate of completion and earning 4.0 continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
CPE Reporting
CPE credits earned for this course may be eligible for continuing professional education credits for non-ISC2 certifications. Please visit the continuing education requirements established by the credentialing organization for eligibility.
Members: Starting January 1st, 2022, CPE Credits for ISC2 credentials will be reported by Member Services on the 1st of every month. Please allow 10 business days for processing. Courses completed prior to 1/1/2022 will need to be self-reported by members and associates through the ISC2 CPE Portal accessible via www.isc2.org using your member login credentials.
